Originally from England, Dave has been a Raleigh business owner since 1997, when he cofounded general contracting firm Riley Lewis. Dave helped grow that business for the next two decades before selling his stake in 2020. Soon after, he started Lewis Bell with his long-time friend McNair Bell. He’s excited to helm a small firm where he can be personally involved with every client and every project. Dave is also a founder/owner of Bearded Bee Brewing Co. in Wendell, NC.

Born and raised in the City of Oaks, McNair Bell comes from a long line of Raleigh business owners. Over the course of his career, he has worked in construction management and in land development, most recently for Marjan Ltd., a firm founded by his father, the late Vic Bell, Jr. For McNair, Lewis Bell is an opportunity to provide exceptional service for clients by drawing on the expertise and industry relationships he and Dave have cultivated over the years.
